New Bugtracking System - 2008-11-25 12:32 - Guybrush [Announcement]

If you want to post a bug or suggest a feature please register! I know it's trouble, but it's to prevent spam. Please bear with it.

First of all: Thank you for your time. Thanks for trying to help us making jDownloads a better component. It's very much appreciated!

To get the most out of this system, there are some things a BUG-poster should look out for:

- Prevent double-bug-posts - search if somebody else already posted this bug
- Please don't overrate your problem: use appropriate "priority" tags
- Notice the subprojects of jDownloads at the upper right corner to post bugs for jDownload extensions and plugins.
- Please try out the newest release of jD and/or it's plugins. Your problem might be already fixed there
- Please use meaningful keywords in the "summary" and write a detailed explanation in the "description"

And things to look out for if you want to post a FEATURE suggestion:

- everything from above
- Please only ask for features that are useful and fit jDownloads's main purpose, being a download-system
- Don't think every suggestion actually gets implemented. Most probably it's quite the contrary.
- To post a feature suggestion do the same thing a bug poster does, just pick the "feature"-tag under "Severity"
