| Summary | 0000009: Early form validation for file upload | |||||||||||
| Description |
It appears that jDownloads validates the upload form data AFTER the transfer attempt. I discovered this accidentally when I was uploading a test file. I waited for 3 minutes, only to see an error message that one of the required fields was empty. Of course, jDownloads should validate all fields immediately, BEFORE the transfer attempt. It is very easy to handle immediate form validation using Javascript, so I recommend adding some code to improve the behavior. (posted by stdev) |
